Kaen coughed, it felt like there was a very heavy load on top of him. He coughed for a start and tried his best to get up, but his own strength failed him.
Twisting his head to one side, Kaen muttered,"Can you help me up?" He wasn't sure why he was on the ground, nor the fact that his head was throbbing in pain. What the hell happened?

Artmesia nodded, seeing Rema still wasn't moving. How pathetic, the stubborn wolf obviously wanted Kaen alive... Why wasn't she happy? Perhaps she still thought he was changed - or something. She shrugged it off, quickly helping Kaen up. She gave him a worried look, tempted to ask him if he was alright. However, that'd be a dumb question; there was no doubt about it. So after she helped him up, she walked over to Rorik. She didn't really know what to say to break the silence, so she just stood there. Waiting for someone else to talk instead.

Rorik stood there silent for a few heartbeats. Only his eyes moved as the rest of him appeared to be completely still. His assessment had been incorrect for some odd reason, for the man who was struggling to right himself now no longer acted as though he had a deathwish and was willing to drag others along with him. He almost growled when Artemesia helped the monster up. Rorik didn't know what to think now. This man was clearly unstable, for now a dark aura cloaked him, too powerful for his own good. The dragon let his teeth show from behind his lips as he took a step forward, his eyes merely slits. "What happened there?" He demanded as he stepped in front of Artemesia. "You need to explain yourself before I let you off with what you have displayed before me." His tone was serious as he glared him down. This was all too strange for him. He wasn't used to these ways at all. Rorik needed some answers.

"Humans, none of you guys would truly understand what these creatures ever think or believe in, no longer shall I. Still isn't it tempting enough when someone or something offers you a chance at life of course? Well thats what happened with me, more than three millennium ago, I believe. I was cut up by a monster from a job offer... Apparently I struck a deal with it and in exchange he took my eye and a spiritual connection. Truthfully I've never had a black out like that once..." he responded, telling practically his complete and utter situation.
"So like what happened while I was out?" he said trying to be in a happy tune, but instead fell down on his butt.

Artemesia stood back as Rorik got in front of her, as if he was... Protecting her? Odd, she had never done anything to impact him like this. She gave Rorik an odd look before listening to Kaen speak. She clenched her hands into a fist as she listened to his explanation on the situation. She glared at Kaen before looking away. "Pathetic, life? More like a punishment worse then death. Things live and die, that's just the way things are." She growled, still looking elsewhere but Kaen. After a long moment of silence, she sighed and turned to look at Rorik. She barely tapped his shoulder, enough to get his attention. "I think it'd be best if we leave, unless you feel this man should really be slain..." She trailed off, trying to find an excuse to get away from the man. She wasn't going to lie, she was getting uncomfortable. Especially after Kaen's psych outburst.
Rema got up, looking at Kaen. He was a normal human, stupid. She barely snarled, looking the man in the eye. "You insult your own race, stupid. You are stupid," She stated bluntly, getting up and stretching her muscles. She saw Artemesia roll her eyes, noting that the old Rema was back. "What I find funny is, you say humans are stupid for doing what they do. When you were stupid for what; immortality? You also lost your eye, how moronic." She growled, falling silent after getting that off of her chest. She just assumed the immortality thing, seeing the man didn't seem to die. Even if this man was a moron, she still felt the desire to follow him. As if being loyal to him would help her gain something.
