He grunted from the impact and flew back, his spine cracking the tree. A twisted grin still played on his face though, as he struggled to right himself. As soon as his posture was near perfect, he brushed his sleeves off with his hand and tried for a different approach. Rorik eyed the red wolf, an idea flickering in his mind. His leg muscles tensed at the ready, and he launched himself forward, the bushy hair wipping in the wind as he flew through the air. A smirk came from him as he landed behind the wolf with silent grace. "What a pretty specimen." He mumbled as he threw a glance at Kaen, grinning cheekily. Rorik pressed his finger to his lips and traced the wolf's fur with it, leaving traces of venom on her backside. He then looked up at Artemesia.
"Once your finished here, feel free to come help me finish the zombie." He winked before lifting from his feet again so that he landed before Kaen once more. "Sorry about that, I didn't want to give you any advantage you might not need in the end." He noted, looking at the man through his peripherals. "Now, where were we? Ah yes, now I remember." And as he said so, the forgotten pain came back to him and Rorik tried his best to crack his back again. After doing so, he pressed forward, his barefoot and arm crashing forward at an alarming pace. "And why would that be? I am happy to say that I am not human. Those puny creatures are so helpless wouldn't you think?"

Rema jumped at the presence of the creature behind her, yelping as some of the poison came in contact with her fur - slowly seeping to her skin. "Damn you!" She shrieked, frantically rolling on the ground to get the damned substance off of her. Artemesia merely figured she'd put the poor brute out of her own misery for about what - a few hours? Minutes, maybe? Whatever would keep her quiet, would work. She didn't want to kill Rema, that was for sure. No matter how much she should have hated the wolf. Before she did anything, she noticed Rorik look up at her - and she listened to what he had to say. To that, she gave him a toothy grin in response to his wink. "Well then, I better hurry." She remarked bluntly, lunging at Rema as Rorik was preparing to attack Kaen.
She bit into Rema's neck, long enough to cut off enough oxygen to pass her out; but not kill her. After ward, she left Rema, aiming to hit Kaen from behind; as Rorik attacked him from the front. She 'stealthed' silently to the right position, lunging at him and preparing to move if he'd even attempt to attack her. Zombie or no, they'd still defeat him. If not she, Rorik would insure a quick victory.

"At least they have something no other creature has..." Kaen replied ready to block any attack coming from both sides. However at some point his body stopped listening to his own commands. A low, barely audible voice echoed in his mind. Come back, to me... Was he going insane, yet it was familiar, it was the thing that had granted his wish from the beginning. Why? Why now? The voice was unmistakable even in this situation, he had no concern what so ever about anything else. IT had not spoken to him since the deal, but now it had! "Why!?!" he continued to ask himself. Paying no attention as the wolf slammed into his back.
"Why!?!? WHY NOW!?!" he spat, grasping his eye patch. There was blood oozing out now, but something else was happening, tearing off the patch, he exposed where a gaping dark hole should have been. Touching the surface, it appeared to be an eye, but it was not his. What the hell is happening here?!
(OOC: Kaen will remain with his current method of fighting(as in no magic/demon powers. He'll just be manipulated depending on your guy's resolve.)

Rorik glanced at him wearily, his foot connected, but he shagged it off quickly. It was only a skirmish, wasn't it? The dragon sidestepped to the left as the man cowered and screamed in such an unnatural way, and his eyes had to focus on something else when the eyepatch came off. He dared a gaze over at him and immediately wished he hadn't. Rorik muttered a question that was very nearly inaudible. "You alright mate?" The dragon looked over to the unconscious wolf, and came back into reality. Another grin swept over his face at the way the tables had turned. "Oh well, hope you feel better soon." He smirked and leaped forward, venom trailing from his mouth. Rorik landed beside his companion, the screaming man infront of him.
"Well, this is very curious." He muttered as he watched in wonderment. "Do you think this happens often?" Rorik whispered, pointed at the man as if spreading gossip. He wasn't worried, he could handle himself, and Artemesia too. In fact, they didn't make a pretty bad team. Rorik grinned with humor as he watched him attack his empty eye socket. "Psst, this would probably be easier if both of us had hands to work with. Although, you are a very good combatant in your true form, I must say." He spoke quietly, idling away the time until Kaen had finished...whatever he happened to be doing. He looked over at him again and sighed happily. His hand was outstretched, and he concentrated deeply on it for a moment, watching it become peppered with blue scales. It still looked human, but it was sheathed in a glove of dragonhide. Now, with focus, he threw it forward once more, aiming for the tip of the zombie's spine. "Keep yourself busy Arty dear." He called over his shoulder as he followed through the punch.

Artemesia shrugged, looking at Rorik and his amusing comments. "Who knows? Knowing how insane this world is, I'd have to say yes." She chuckled, almost dumbfounded about his speech about her fighting. If you'd even call it a speech, that is. She just blinked, watching as Rorik was preparing to attack Kaen again. "Gladly," she murmured, shifting into her human form with ease. She walked over, leaning against a tree. She wouldn't interfere anymore, this was Rorik's fight. She gaze a worried look to the passed out Rema. At least she hadn't killed her, for she had no reason to kill her. Plus, this was just a sparring match, not a full out fight. Rema would've made it into one, so she was glad she took care of her when she did.

The force on his spine ended it, the presence was gone, since he practically blacked out. The hollow shell that was his body, stood, hunched over for a second, than quickly spun around, his sword unsheathed.
"Do you dare challenge a god!?!" spat a menacing voice quite unlike Kaen's.
"You are nothing compared to me, you measly lizard!" the creature continued. Grasping the sword with both hands, the sword missed Rorik by mere inches as the ground seemed to literally crack under the force.
(OOC: Yay! Thank the heavens that the DG doesn't know how to use the body yet.)

Rorik stumbled backwards, surprised by the new direction this happened to be going. "Killing isn't in the rules, might I remind you." He spoke sternly, casting a worried glance over at Artemesia, who suddenly looked fragile. I don't want you killing my new friend. His dorky humor had disappeared, and a serious wave claimed him as he stalked forward, his eyes blazing in their sockets. He sneered as more scales began peppering his flesh, morphing his skintone so he looked like a humanoid serpent. His hair was still flecked with his blood, and he inhaled the lovely scent. Rorik glared at the puppet and snarled, his forked tongue emerging from his lips.
"Why yes my dear fellow. Dragons are known to be quite good in combat, which is why I stand here before you. Now, any obligations before I put you to sleep?" He spat again, hitting the split earth with his deadly venom. His eyes were sincere, his body continuing to shape, numerous snaps and shudders resounding from his form as he shifted.
A few moments later, a small, but strong dragon stood in the midst of the field. His eyes, still a burning gold, watched as the god procceeded.

"A runt of a dragon, I knew Rodylian dragons were smaller than ours, but I didn't think it would be this small," it said, gripping the sword tighter now. Tapping into Kaen's memories, it took up a basic form of combat stance, raising the sword to the left side of the body. The demonic eye stared deep into the dragons, than with a quick boost from Kaen's legs, it charged straight into the dragon's side...
"Its a good thing, this puppet has experience cutting down dragons." it commented, yet still not used to using such a body, it missed, only grazing the side of the creature, where a few sparks flew.

As it did so, another hiss escaped the dragon's feral jaws as it came down upon the smaller being, closing his teeth around him, he threw him into the trees as he batted his wings. "I may be small, but I am larger then you." He stated matter-of-factly as he dove straight for him, his teeth bared as he watched. Rorik glanced over at the frozen Artemesia and roared. "Save the dog!" He signaled towards the konked out Rema as he swerved through the trees. "My size is my advantage!" He growled, landing a few feet before the creature.
His breath came from him at a steady pace as he cautiously stepped forward, his head tilting to one side as he tried to access what he could of his spitfire. Dangit. He mentally swore when he realized the proteins used for creating his only weapon were nearly diminished. His eyes were slits as his jaws opened again, wings fanned from both sides of him.

Artemesia nodded, the turn of the battle was... Awkward, and it was the only option at the time to avoid it. She ran over to Rema, picking her up by the scruff before getting to a safe distance. Yet, she was close enough to still witness the battle. She sighed, jumping into a tree and setting Rema down on one of the larger branches. Of course, the being stirred. Why now? She wondered, shrugging it off. "What the...?" The wolf slightly growled, eyes half way open. Artemesia gave her a comforting smile - the best she could - for she worried about her companion; if you'd even call him that. "Kaen is... Gone, at least temporarily, Rema. It's best you keep here for the time being..." Shockingly enough, Rema didn't argue. She just silently lay there staring off into space.
Artemesia sighed, looking back to the fray. If it got out of hand, she'd rush down there to protect and help Rorik. She wasn't about to let him die - even if he was most likely to stubborn to admit he needed help. Males, she thought bitterly.

The body crashed into a tree with little resistance, but the force didn't keep it down. It wasn't able to use the body as well as it thought it could. Holding its stance, it charged towards, the creature, slowly but planning to go faster after a few more steps. Than a thought other than its own pulsated, it didn't have much time now, its connection was also running low. Than before it can give one final attack, the mind completely fought back.
"Don't get in the way!" however the reply was far too late as both of the conscience disappeared and the body collapsed onto the ground.

Rorik had just been about to tear the torso from the limbs, but as he came up to meet the man, it feel to the ground after screeching a warning. The dragon, cautious as he was, poked it with his muzzle, making sure it was gone from the battle. He glared at it once more for good measure, and then procceeded to retrieve his clothing, which was laying in a dead patch of grass. As he grabbed them, his eyes sought out Artemesia and Rema, and saw that they were both well away from the fight. He looked back down at the clothing, and shifted, quickly changing into the slacks and shirt he had managed to steal.
His hand swept through his messy locks as he signaled for Artemesia to come back. "It doesn't look good, but I am thinking it may be over...for now atleast." He glanced back over at Kaen, worry coloring his face as he stepped towards the limp form that lay facedown in the grass. As soon as he was a few feet from it, he stopped, unsure of how to procceed.

Artemesia nodded to the signal, picking Rema up by the scruff again and quickly moving to where Rorik was. She set Rema down, who lazily got up with no effort. She looked depressed, or from what Artemesia could tell. Perhaps it was a side effect from the poison Rorik used? Maybe. How could she tell what it was? That was obvious, it smelt like poison, and it worked like acid. She had researched on such little things, making it easier to identify them. Only, that wasn't the point now, was it? No, it wasn't. "What exactly do you think happened? And, are you alright?" She asked quickly, keeping an eye on both Rorik and Rema.
Rema walked over to Kaen's limp body, lying down by it. She hoped he wasn't dead, he couldn't be dead. Not only had her pride literally been crushed, she lost him too? Sure, he was someone she had just met... But he was practically the only one she had ever warmed up to. Oh, what a depressing night. She whimpered slightly, keeping her gaze on Kaen. In case he would wake up.

"I'm fine. The man might have a different story. An oddity that one is. Indeed." He kneeled at the man's side, tracing his forearm with his finger. It was alarmingly cold, as if he had been dead for a long time. The dragon stood again, wiping his hands on his pantleg again. He looked sympathetically at the whining dog, and whistled at her. "Come here girl! Come!" Rorik wasn't trying to tease her, he just knew that was how dogs responded. He even patted his leg to get her to come. When she didn't respond, he looked over to Arty. "Is she deaf?" He asked a matter-of-factly, pointing at the red wolf with his index finger. Rorik was alright, in fact, he was normal. He was worried about the man though, well more curious, but still worried.

Rema didn't even bother responding to the man's calls, none the less get pissed off by it. She just lay there next to Kaen, hoping he was still alive. If he was even alive to begin with.. She didn't even really know anymore. Why should she care? Life was too cruel as it was, thinking to much would only make it worse. She sighed, closing her eyes. Practically never wanting to wake up again.
Artemesia gave her a worried look, before looking at Rorik. He was... Different, not exactly what she'd call charming. Especially at the fact he was refering to Rema as a pet dog, rather then the Feral Brute she was. When he asked his question, she shrugged. "I don't know, but give her time to adapt. This is all sudden for her, and she is young...." She trailed off.
