Gavin almost collapsed in front of the stream and started to wash his hands and his arms and where ever else he saw blood. After splashing some water in his hair, he went off to change into some less conspicuous clothes. When he came back, he noticed that his spear still sat next to the water and was also sill covered in blood. He knew that water wasn’t particularly good for weapons of any kind since, with his luck, it would probably rust in a few minutes, but he didn’t exactly have a choice. Plus, it had never rusted before, even when he was an idiot kid and left it out in the rain for two days. He placed it in the stream and started to rub water on it with his hands. It was an odd feeling. The spear almost seemed to protest being there. Gavin suddenly felt compelled to throw it down, away from the clear stream. Would the spear really rather be bathed in blood? He swallowed and placed it to the side. It was clean enough.
Wolfeh’s answer also confused him. It was almost as mysterious as his own. She was definitely hiding something, but it probably didn’t matter, unless she was a Gatekeeper, then he wouldn’t know what to do. “Yeah,” he finally said, getting up from the stream. “I think I’m supposed to meet the client within the hour, but I really doubt that’s going to happen. I hope he’s patient.”

"Oh noes, we must to hurry, like now, I don't like being late to what I was supposed t-" Wolfeh cut off and grabbed hold of Gavin's arm. Him being wet was the least of her concerns. Besides after the forest becomes dark, they would be in even more trouble! As she ran more sweat made her feel completely awful. The only thing worse at the moment was the fact that she would be late. If she was to be late then they had to completely reorganize the meeting and her head might be bitten off from the higher ups.
"This is so ba-, hey look the town!"
