He wanted his life more then the promotion and quickly let go of Wolfeh, running full speed away from the crazy guy. At that moment he hit straight into the firewall. From there his body suddenly lighted up in flames that burned like hell! He screamed and ran around in circles trying to shake the fire off. At that moment Wolfeh regained consciousness.
"Hey would you shut up, some people are trying to sleep!" She hollered loudly at the guy's direction. At the sight of the burning man, she declared she was still dreaming. The hit on the head took effect again and she fainted, landing lightly on the ground.
"What a weird dream," she murmured to herself.

Gavin raised one of eyebrows. This was… unexpected. It would be fine to just let the man burn to death, or just let him kill himself by ramming his head into a tree, but that wouldn’t be very satisfying. Gavin picked up his spear again, waiting until the man was at the right angle. After a few seconds, he came running in Gavin’s direction. Gavin pointed the blade at the man and steadied the other side with his hand. He ran forward and pierced the man’s side. Gavin kept on running and pinned him to a tree. Dead leaves floated to the ground from the impact. The Gatekeeper coughed as the young man wiped his bloodied hands on his prisoner’s clothes. He cracked his knuckles, turning to the once again unconscious girl. Now what to do with her?
(Yay violence!)

Wolfeh turned about in her sleep, a terrible nightmare rushing through her mind. Her parents were all screaming in pain, behind them a growing fire that began to swallow all her possessions and the life she known. In the distance was the small barking of a lone dog and even more screaming. Turning her head she found that the dog was dead along with a bunch of little kids. Knowing that might be her next, Wolfeh started to run. She ended up in the forest lost, cold, and scared. Just then everything went black.

Gavin stared at the motionless girl. She could have been dead; she even looked it, but he knew she wasn’t. The Gatekeepers wanted her alive, but he didn’t. Gavin held out his hand and the spear that had held the dead man to the tree shot out.
He suddenly shuddered and the spear dropped to the ground. Gavin dropped to his knees and felt nauseous, almost violently ill. Something cold dripped down his cheek. He reached up and touched the area—blood, from his ear. Another spasm shook him. Why didn’t he just kill her? She was useless, not even able to take down an idiot thug. But she was an ally, a girl, someone who hadn’t harmed him. But who’s to say that she won’t? He reached over and felt for the spear, still slippery with blood. Kill her.
“No!” The spear again stopped in midair. He couldn’t do it. His breathing became ragged as he tried to stay in control. “Why shouldn’t I kill her?” he muttered. The answer he received was another burst of pain. Gavin’s heart stopped as he tried to wake the girl. She needed to leave.

Wolfeh eyes opened and stared at Gavin with utmost fear. The dream hadn't fade away and she could still hear all those screaming. The feeling of fire lingered in all her nerves. She stared at Gavin and the blood running down his ears. Still under the effects of her dreams, Wolfeh turned down to her puppy self. From there on she began to struggle out of her clothes and ran. She ran as far and wide as she could, leaving behind the letter package she was supposed to deliver for the Fellowship.

Gavin blinked and took a deep breath. He felt like he had been kick by a horse on every place on his body and then thrown out a window. To put it simply, it hurt. Bad. He forced his still fingers to clumsily find and rub his eyes. Blood and sweat had apparently dripped into them. So how did he end up like this? He reached over to the side of him and felt something cold that immediately made him want to draw away. But it was just the spear, and it looked like blood was beginning to dry on it.
The blood. He turned over to look at the sky. What was he doing here? The blood.
The memories crashed into him and made Gavin want to vomit. Wolfeh, the thugs. What had he done? What had he almost done? He sat up. The body was still there, slumped against the tree, but Wolfeh was gone. Hadn’t she run off? He didn’t blame her. He looked to the side and noticed a small package, just big enough to hold a letter, and a pile of clothes. So she had left.
What now? Should he go to Vanar anyway? And what the hell had happened to him? He could barely remember what had happened, and what he could was like looking at it from far away and after many years. It scared him.

Wolfeh kept on running out of fear, until suddenly she snapped back to her senses. She had to go back, her clothes, and the "package" was worth more then hundred of lives! How could she be so stupid! Turning back to the direction she came from, Wolfeh began to run back through the path. As she ran, she yelped to drive away any enemies. Hopefully it would work, but nothing truly ever went her way. Just as she made it back, her body froze. There was a ghastly odor in the air. Blood had been spilled today and all her memories rushed back.
Then she smelled a familiar scent, it was Gavin. Was he alright? Running out of fear she found him sitting and rushed over, licking his face. Oh thank god he was alive! Her happiness couldn't be described at that moment! After a few seconds she remembered her mission. Rushing over to her package, she took a few sniffs. No one but her had carried it up until now. Wolfeh began to hop around it, all thats needed was to deliver it.

Gavin didn’t know how long he sat like that, but it must not have been too long. His eyes stayed on the package the whole time. He considered opening it, but what would that accomplish anyway? He wasn’t even sure if Wolfeh was still alive. Eventually, he heard a sound coming from the forest a sort of squeaking, no, yelping, like a puppy. Gavin swallowed.
A small dog came bounding out of the forest and into the clearing. It licked his face, washing some of the blood away. Numbly, Gavin sat there, not sure if he should push her away. He did, after all, almost try to kill her; at least, that was what he half-remembered. After a few seconds, the dog moved to her packed and examined it through doggy sniffs. He wondered how she could appear so happy.
“Wolfeh,” he finally said. His throat felt dry and hoarse, like he had been screaming. “What… I mean how did… I don’t know what happened. That man… I can hardly remember anything.” He reached up to his ear and felt caked blood. “I should leave.” Though as he said it, he still didn’t move.

Wolfeh snuggled into her own clothes and turned back into a more humanly shape. Her eyes glimmered with concern and she picked up her package. Gavin was hurt, most of it was her fault. Should she flat out say she was Fellowship. No she had to remain quiet unless it is with another. Wait the man was dead and he didn't seem to be the righteous kind of person.
"Maybe we should rest for a few minutes and try to figure what exactly is going on." Wolfeh replied with a sad sort of smile. She walked over to Gavin and sat down next to him.
"So what were you doing here in Vanar Woods?"

Gavin licked his lips. His mouth was so dry. So how should he answer Wolfeh? She seemed concerned, but how much did he really want to tell her? How much did he really know? He looked at his hands, stained with dried blood in the creases of his palms, under his fingernails. He could only imagine the state of his clothes. His spear, over to the side, almost seemed to wink at him, that thing that seemed to be covered with years of rust but was only the life of the dead man.
“I was heading to Vanar,” he said. It was difficult to speak though a mouth that felt like dust. “I… I’m supposed to meet a college of my employer there.”

"Lets head to Vanar and find your college!" Wolfeh said jumping up, out of excitement. She grabbed hold of Gavin and tried to pull him up. She had to head to Vanar anyways, the package don't deliver themselves. Taking hold of the package in one hand, she kept on encouraging Gavin to get up.
"Once we find your friend, can you help me find my?"

Gavin blinked. Her enthusiasm was surprising. And, well, he did have a horribly bad sense of direction. It would be nice to have someone with him. But still, what if he went mad again? He pursed his lips. As long as he didn’t use magic, he should be alright, he figured.
He nodded and stood up at Wolfeh’s urging. “Alright then. So… you know which direction it is?” He looked around, tactfully avoiding the body, more than a bit clueless.

Wolfeh quickly got down to the ground and began to sniff at it. The blood mized into the soil didn't help her find the town easily. Soon however the scent of large amount of people caught up to her senses. After a few more minutes of debating witch path to follow, it is understandable to follow the one with the least people. It is however going to take awhile.
"Alright, this way!" she said rushing into the green undergrowth.

Gavin nodded and pushed himself up off the ground. At least the aching had stopped at that point, but he still needed to find some sort of stream to wash up in. Thankfully, he’d had the idea to bring a change of clothes, but that still wouldn’t get the blood off his hands and arms. Walking into Vanar like that without being seriously injured would bring way too much attention to the two. Plus, whenever he even thought about the blood and where it came from, he felt ill.
“Why don’t we stop at that stream first?” he asked. “Plus, Wolfeh, I don’t think I ever ask you what do were doing out here. You have that package but, well, who do you need to deliver it to?”

After a few moments Wolfeh found them a decent stream, away from people and the road. She bent over near the water, splashing her face. As for Gavin's question, she didn't know how to answer. It was to dangerous to just flat out say that its for a Fellowship person. Taking a deep breath, Wolfeh relaxed all her muscles, that always helped her think.
"Its for a friend of my comrade and its also quite important that no one else were to acquire this parcel," Wolfeh replied in a serene tone. It was gentle and at the same time out of her characters. The voice was her adult like one, that many human her age might talk like. She hoped Gavin won't find anything amiss from her words. They were all true as far as she knew.
Taking hold of her package, she began to take a few sniffs, determining where exactly they are. Still sensing nothing, she relaxed again. Taking hold of her package, she started to rip it open. At first there was a dark violet robe with a hoop. Wrapped within was a smaller package. Since they were almost to town, she put the robe on. She took cover behind the hood, checking the water to make sure no one would notice her.
"Hurry, there isn't much time to waste, probably not enough for both us."
