Her time was obviously running out. She could tell by the way they constantly kept pace with her. Was it so damn hard to just leave her alone time and again?
Yes, yes it was.
Keira growled as her bare feet slapped the dry earth in a tumultuous pattern. What more could give her away? She had nearly tripped a few times as well, the only thing keeping her from landing on her face happened to be the fact that she was watching the ground now. Her bow was in her hands, and at random times, she pivoted to the side, shot a bow, then pivoted to face forward again. It was a cursed pattern, but one she had to keep up if she was going to escape this capture unscathed. Keira had been through this before, but never had she have five tribesmen coming at her at once. The stupid advisor just couldn't leave her or her brother alone, could he?
Nope.
She hissed through her teeth when her toe collided with a rock, and she drew another arrow for good measure. Surprise me Nich. She shot it, watching as it turned to a dark flaming phoenix, and grinned satisfactorily as it wiped the fields with its flames. Keira sprinted forward, her feet still acting like drums as she pressed on. Nice one. She complimented her brother as she suddenly changed directions, running up a tall hill, struggle accompanying her the whole way. "Leave. Me. Alone!" She shouted back at them in her native tongue before drawing two more arrows, prepped and ready for attack. Little did she know that others lurked around Here at twilight.
And they were not drows.

.Sabazios
Sabazios stretched, all his muscles becoming warm as he did so. It had been a harsh day for him, constantly being battered by the excessive chatter about guarding the border of Sarnora. There hadn't been any sort of threat or signs of enemy in the territory for a few months now. He had seen to such matters himself. A not so distant voice made his reflexes quickly grab for his weapon, only to remember that he should be in no way involved in any matter. The fact that he was near is simply a mere coincidence. Nothing for someone like him to fret over.
Than again such disturbances was near his territory and that was something he could not forgive or tolerate. Grabbing hold of his sword, he stepped forward, barely making any sound against the soft forest grass. It was late and all he planned to do was take one small relaxing stroll around the throng of trees. Perhaps it was his own fault, as the forest around the city was prone to drows and their likes. Nuisances will be treated as such, just because they interrupted his own thoughts.
With his own mind made up, Sabazios, charged through the trees, never missing a beat, everything was focused clear on the target of the shouts. He clasped his own weapon on his belt, till the knuckles began to whiten from the tenseness. There was indeed better things to do, but fighting had always made him relaxed more than usual. No, as a ruler, he must first figure a way to disperse trouble without the use of violence, this would be the best practice for him, concluding that thought. Truthfully he didn't plan on doing much negotiation at all.
When he reached the source of the disruption, it appeared to be some kind of chase, involving drows. Unfortunately, drows were always so...nonnegotiable in the ignorant sort of way. This would be an excellent time to gain himself a few new followers. Rogues were people that the Darth'iar was happy to take in. Taking in another route, within the shadows of the trees, he skipped the pursuers and rushed to the side of, what apparently was a female archer.
"Need any help?" Sabazios asked, running alongside the girl and his face concealed behind his hood.

It wasn’t so bad being near the city. Her father had warned her about it time and time again before she had left the tribe and even as she was growing up. The priests lived near there, neared the grandest cities like Sarnora. The beauty of the place is deceptive, she remembered, for they would cut you down without a thought if they so felt like it. Maybe, just maybe, if she had been more wary of those types of people, Lealen would still be alive.
But still, the place was lovely, despite its true form. Kida pushed a lock of her hair behind her ear and continued on her way, taking in the scent of the grass and trees and the colors of the fading twilight. Surely this place can’t be all evil, she thought.
The sound of a broken twig not far off sent her into the alert. Some animal? she wondered. For safety’s safe, she grabbed onto the branch of a low-hanging tree and hefted herself up. Concealed among the leaves, she saw as a young woman ran past. She seemed nearly out of breath and close to collapsing. Almost the second she disappeared out of sight, pursuers, drows, followed.
She slunk back farther into the leaves, her flesh beginning to get clammy out of fear. That woman was as good as dead if she didn’t do something, Kida realized. She waited until the drows had vanished and then jumped out of the tree and pursued the pursuers. It didn’t take long to catch up. Apparently they were beginning to get as tired as the woman. As she was reaching for her kusarigama, yet another figure appeared. The hint of a black clock led Kida to run even further ahead. Just who was this new player?
Running to the side of the group, just beyond sight, she saw that the cloaked man started to speak to the woman. Did they know each other? She shook her head. That didn’t matter now. She drew her weapon from her belt and started swinging the weighted end as she ran out from her hidden area. One of the drows left the formation and decided to attack the new intruder, but he didn’t get close enough to do much of anything. She released the weight, and it spun around the drow, tying him up almost as well as a rope would. As she ran forward to finish the job, she called out, “One down!”

The drow nearly tripped over her feet as the giant cloaked being came to her side. She sneered at him, her bow safe in her arms as she continued at her breakneck pace. "I don't need help." Keira spat as she rotated so she was running backwards. She strung Nicholai, and shot the arrow, watching as it immediately shifted into a misty wolf. It howled once before charging into one of the drows, piercing it with ease. The drow howled in agony, and fell limply upon the other who had been killed by the female. She smirked as she twisted her body again, her foot hitting the ground in one quick step, she was off again. Keira was surprised the cloaked figure could keep pace with her, and she worried that he was after her as well. With one glance behind her, the drow wrapped herself around a tree, causing her heel to dig into the ground with stern force. Her body stopped propelling forward as she bent down, breathing harder then usual. Keira looked up at the man with a growl.
"What do you want?" She spat as she sunk to the ground, her bow clutched in her arms as the other drows continued to press on. Keira watched the humanoid being kill off one more, and tagged her as a temporary ally. The girl stood up shakily, holding the tree for support as she strung her bow again. Through clenched teeth, she muttered the word "lion" and shot the bow with extreme accuracy. As it tumbled through the air, it shifted into a ghostly lion, which gnawed one of the other drow's heads. As soon as it hit, the lion returned to its original state, and the arrow was pointedly seen as sticking out of the dead drow's noggin. She sighed, placing her bow on her back again, looking back at the misshaped man. "You gonna talk again? Or are you just gonna kill me and leave?" Her eyes were full of loathing as she clenched her fists.
Her eyes traced Kida in curiosity. It wasn't easy killing a drow, unless you were a drow too. She was surprised, but also weary. What if she was after her too? A sweat broke from her forehead as she began panting unevenly again. She wanted to run again, to atleast feel like she was getting somewhere. Kiera glanced up at the hooded figure again, wary. He didn't look like someone you would see in or near Sarnora. What did he want with her? Was he a hitman too? Goddamit... She clenched her teeth as she watched the progression. Her arrows were gone, she had no more defense left. Kiera's fingers dug into the bark as she mentally cursed at herself somemore. I was so close to escaping too. Fuck this! Kiera looked up at the silent man and frowned. "Well?" She questioned, expectant.

.Sabazios
Sabazios, remained ever so vigilante as he watched one of the pursuer get taken down from a new helper. Whoever did had some skills, while as for the drow beside her seems to have her own power as well. He was impressed by both of them and the fact that one was only hostile and not completely insane. It was a shame that so many influential people were completely crazy to the core.
"Its-" he was cut off from a noise other than themselves, the other drows and the new arrival. There was someone else besides them, an assassin he declared. As he watched the girl fight through all the other men, Sabazios was busy tracking down the enemy hidden in the shadows. In between the time that the girl had her eyes off of him, he managed to locate and stab through the heart of the drow assassin and return to the spot with one hand behind his back.
"No, I don't wish to harm you, simply to help, that is the way of a gentleman of course," he said, slowly showed the body that had his sword pierced through the heart. A lovely rose indeed.

The stunned drow looked up in shock as Kida slashed his throat with the scythe-like blade. She stepped back in disgust at both the blood and herself for killing the man, but she had no time to mourn. She spun to face another attacker, who brandished his weapon inches from her face. As she reached desperately for her knife, an arrow, or what she thought was an arrow, whizzed by her face and stuck squarely into the drow’s forehead. Was that a lion she saw? There was no time to think.
Kida drew her knife and ducked under another drow’s blow; she slid to the side, stabbing him in the gut and ripping the flesh as she moved. He screamed with agony as he collapsed. She could still feel his blood, warm on her hands. Was she really any better than they were?
A scimitar jarred her arm despite her quick parry. While holding the drow’s arm up out of reach, she used her other hand holding the kusarigama to slash open his middle. She panted as she turned around again, expecting to face another drow, but they were too far already, quickly closing in on the woman.
The cloaked man was near her though. Would he protect her? It appeared so. On his sword was a drow, skewered through the middle like a pig. Her heart beat in her throat as she looked at him. Was it fear or… something else?
Ridding herself of unnecessary thoughts, with a burst of speed, she ran after the remaining drow. “They’re coming closer!”

Keira watched in astonishment as the other drows fell, leaving only one behind. Her outlook on things changed in an instant, and she leapt from her spot, her bow in hand. Growling under her breath, she caught the last drow and wrapped her string around his neck as she twisted so she was on his back. Having great trust in her weapon, she pushed backward, the bow string cutting off all oxygen to the drow, and eventually snapping his neck in two. Keira lifted from her perch on his back as he fell, examining her work to ensure the best results. She replaced Nicholai on her back, and dusted herself off once more. Her grimace remained when she located the other woman and the cloaked figure who still had the corpse of one of her tribe brothers speared in his hand. She moved back to the one with the dead drow, taking cautious steps once more as her hair whipped behind her. Her eyes were following the girl's movements, the one who had warned one side of the party. She had a feeling it could be hers.
"Name? Age? Calling?" She called to both of them, although not truly expecting to hear anything from the man, she looked to the woman who was still progressing over to where they stood. Keira looked her up and down, her skin was an ugly white color, not a tropical blue like hers, but she had some pretty characteristics in her face and build. She saw no trace of evil in her face, atleast the kind of evil she should be afraid of that is. Keira scanned her form once more before looking back to what she presumed to be a man, but she couldn't be sure. Keira awaited their response patiently, twitching her fingers as the time passed on by.

As she ran forward to assist in the fight, Kida saw she wouldn’t be needed. With great grace, the woman leapt on the attacking drow and snapped his neck with her bowstring. The enemy slumped to the ground and she bounded off his back. Kida slowed to a walk and for the first time really examined the woman she had helped. She was a drow as well, though obviously not a friend of the others. She had an aura of defensiveness about her, as if it would take an impossible amount of trust for her to open up to anyone.
As for the man, he was difficult to place, but he was certainly dangerous, judging from the morbid bouquet upon his sword. Though his face was mostly obscured by the shadow of his hood, she could see slivery white hair poking out from the sides. He certainly didn’t fight like an old man, but he didn’t seem like a drow. Just what was he? she wondered.
“My name is Kida,” she said, wiping off the blood from her weapons and hands with a cloth. “I’m twenty years old, probably young by your standards. My calling… my calling is to find hope.” She offered her hand in greeting as she joined the others, a pleasant smile on her lips. “I hope we can become allies.”

.Sabazios
Sabazios, dropped the body down with a low thump. He didn't dare use his real name, for it had the veil of history over it. Sheathing his sword the best he could, he tried his best to respond.
"Saba, don't laugh, age? Bah! Who keeps count? Calling, don't have one," he responded the best in could. The girl Kida was also an interesting fellow, she was not a drow, yet was able to rival one senior fighter at the very least. Her calling interested him nonetheless and he did have a comment.
"Hope is not easy in these days, sometimes you have to fight for it," Sabazios said, facing Kida in the blinds of his cloak. A distant sound, made him cringe, it was getting late and he needed to do some conference meeting the next day, yet he could not turn away from the fact that this girl was just being hunted nor leave them here to fend for themselves. He was better than that.
"There is a thin line between insane and revolutionary," he muttered towards no one in particular. It was true, he is going through it right now.
"Even when you find hope, what do you expect to do with it? No one accepts change easily, no one." not even him.
"Answer later, we have to find somewhere safe to stay," he said, turning towards the direction of the city.

Keira watched him depart for a moment, and looked back at the one named Kida, expectant. She watched once more, and without a word, allowed her own footsteps to fall into pace with his. It was easy for her to keep pace with him, her muscles were built for this kind of thing. Her indigo hair brushed her back with every step, and her head was kept upturned, her eyes scrutinizing his invisible expression. She only rarely turned back to see if Kida was following, seeing only lush forest behind her. Keira was cautious about how she approached things, and was also feeling an episode of paranoia as she fell behind the taller being. Her silence followed her the whole way, for she was afraid to mutter something that might send these two powerful forces against her, which would be very bad indeed.

Kida was silent as Saba spoke. Had something happened to him to make him such a pessimist, or was that just how people who grew up in cities were? She frowned to herself as she ran to catch up with the drow woman and Saba. Of course you had to fight to find hope. Hope that was given to you freely isn’t hope at all, but a lie, a dead promise. She’d learned that the hard way.
She pushed herself to run still faster until she was shortly behind the drow woman. She asked between breaths, “You still never said your own name. It’s fine if you don’t want to, I mean, but it’d be nice…” She trailed off. What was she doing?

Keira looked at her once, judgment filling her expression, before looking away. She didn't want to speak, but they have given up their names. Keira might as well do the same. "My name is Keira. I am from the infamous Lunari tribe located in the mountains. They were after me because I betrayed them, but it isn't my fault they altered my father's teachings." She spat, still looking away. Nicholai felt the same of course, she was speaking of his father too. Keira elegantly leapt over a few pieces of scrap wood, her foot nearly catching a decayed piece, but merely skimming it. She looked at Kida expectantly, a million things going through her mind.
"Where are we going, Saba" She spoke in a thick tongue, but her accent could be deciphered if someone tried. Keira was so used to speaking in her own language, the usual tongue that hung around places like this were hard for her to use. But she digressed of course. Keira leapt over another log, Nicholai nearly falling from its sheath.

.Sabazios
Saba remained silent like the night itself, not bothering to answer Keira's question. His main concern in that moment was to find a safe place to stay for the night and be ready for all the meetings ahead for him the very next day. Taking a peek up into the sky, it doesn't seem like he had much time. Running a quick layout of the city in his mind, he tried to determine exactly where would be the most appropriate location for him. He had never slept in his own home, too much trouble when many do not believe in him. Soon, everyone will see, there would be no more wars, pain, and suffering. His mind quickly went back to the current reality, he had two suspicious females with him. One being a drow and another darkling, going off into the night.
Without a warning or notice, he sped up, not at full pace, but just enough to travel quickly back into the streets of Sarnora. Right when he saw the entrance into the city, he has decided on a tavern... Running about one or two blocks on the hard stone grounds, he jumped right through into an ajar door.
"Two rooms," he said, not facing the woman at the desk before being handed some room keys.
"This place has clean rooms, decent food, but great beer, I'll order anything you like from the menu. If the two of your girls don't want to share a room, I guess I'll be sleeping out back in the alley," he said, not even bothering to see if any of them were next to him, while he sat on the bar.
