Name: Vincent Allandor
Race: Vampire/human
Gender: Male
Age: 27
World of origin: Daevir
Allegiance: Fellowship
Description: Vincent is a rather attractive man. He’s about 6 feet in height, making him taller than most in Rodylia, and his build is lithe and thin. His hair is brown in color and sits a bit past his shoulders when not tied back, which isn’t often. Thin parted bangs fall to the side of his soft brown eyes. His skin is lightly tanned from his travels.
He typically wears earthy tones, which allow his to hide easily if need be. Vincent very rarely wears formal clothes, preferring to buy practical items. His typical attire consists of a thin undershirt, light mail, and a buttoned-up coat. His breeches are tucked into worn traveling boots.
Skills/Weapons: Vincent has a near-flawless photographic memory. The odd part is, he is almost always unable to describe what he saw, so he must draw it, which is fine because he is an excellent sketch-artist. This ability also extends to being able to predict the outcome of many events, such as battles, with amazing accuracy. This has led some to believe that he is a clairvoyant, but that is not the case; at least, according to Vincent it isn’t.
He also possesses a rapier and a dagger, though he prefers to talk people out of battle rather than kill or injure than. This, however, depends on who he’s fighting.
Personality: Wise beyond his years, Vincent seems very mature at first glance, as well as the second and third glances. He is normally very calm, even when provoked. He’s a pleasant person to be around and freely gives advice, even if the person he is advising doesn’t want it. He is a wealth of knowledge, since he’s able the remember most, if not, things he’s learned.
He is intensely honorable, believing that joining the Fellowship was truly the right decision for him to make. However, even when meeting known Gatekeepers or even Darth’iar, he doesn’t just kill them or even attack them without provocation. He knows that even unlikely and possibly evil people could be candidates for allies. His honor also extends to helping the weak, especially the civilians; native world doesn’t matter to him in those respects. He lets those who are fighting fight, but hates to involve others needlessly. This naïveté could easily lead to complicating matters, however.
Vincent also hates the vampiric side of himself. Though he doesn’t need to drink nearly as much blood as full-bloods do, he does carry around a flask full of human blood for emergency consumption. If he doesn’t drink any for much longer than a week, he can get very weak and possibly die. The only thing he considers helpful about this side are his intensified senses.
History: Born into a wealthy family in Cavar, Daevir, Vincent grew up in a quite aristocratic environment, with servants and string-pulling and all the usual fanfare. There was one thing about him that caused the boy to be shunned though: his mother’s blood. She had been one of his father Railin’s mistresses, and his birth was an accidental one. Not wanting to appear to have an illegitimate son, he raised Vincent as he would a normal son, though with a sour hand involved in nearly everything. Vincent became rather fed-up with this once he reached his teens and asked to travel abroad when he turned 18. Unable to refuse, Railin let him go.
The journey around Daevir was rather uneventful, though intriguing to Vincent, this being the first time he had really seen his world. He didn’t get to finish looking at the world though, at least this one. While traveling in the Berefit Plains on his way to Sarnora, he and some of his escorts suddenly walked into an area of intense darkness, a Rift. On the other side, the group was unfortunate to land literally feet away from a meeting of Gatekeepers. Both sides startled, a fight began, with the Gatekeepers being the victors.
With quick thinking and an even quicker excuse, Vincent managed to avert his execution for a few days. While imprisoned, a man snuck into his prison and introduced himself as Cain, an ally. Willing to do anything to get out of his sorry situation, Vincent accepted Cain’s deal of coming with him after he was released. After a short escapade which involved fooling the guards, Cain explained everything to Vincent, including the Fellowship’s mission. He accepted helping out.
Though he was nothing more than an errand boy at first, Cain realized his use when he sketched out a raid they had been planning for a few weeks. The picture almost seemed to tell the future. After being interrogated for hours, it was concluded that Vincent simply had a god-given talent for that sort of thing, so he became involved in the most important of Fellowship meetings. He quickly became one of the most trusted members of the group.
