Vincent had to agree with what Anny had said. He was rather aggravated at Rive for not explaining what was going on, but he wished no harm upon the man. He listened to the last thing the girl said. More, then? Having no desire to get shot, he drew his sword, as helpless as it would be against arrows and looked around, trying to catch a glimpse of what the girl seemed to sense.
Rive moved behind him, taking out a flask of something or other. At first Vincent thought it was full of alcohol, but for all he knew, it could be some sort of antidote. Still, antidote or not, he still had a gaping arrow wound in his shoulder. “I’m not going anywhere,” Vincent said gruffly, “especially into town. I don’t want to get anyone else in danger, and if we run into the wilderness, it would be even easier for whoever is shooting us to kill you.” He tightened his grip on the hilt of the rapier. “Either tell me who you really are, or I’m not moving one inch.”

Vincent was obviously just as agrevated by all of this... Lorely stared at him as he spoke back to Rive and then eyed his flask of who knows what stuff suspiciously. It's smell was holy diferent, that one, but it only brought more puzzled questions into her head. In fact, her head was starting to hurt with all this confusion. She rubbed her skull with her fingers and shut her eyes. "You guys are a great headache." But she did overhear clearly the part of the town. It was a perfect chance to loose them finally.
Lorely would have wanted to know who the madman is, if he was really mad after all, but she wanted to get out of here first. "Ugh, you can wait here for all I care then. As if we had time for questions" She didn't care for what he thought about it and he just said they had no other place to go. There is only the wild and society, where else? The sky? Her hand had began to give off an eery glow as she aproached Rive. She pat his expose flesh where the wound was visible, a bit hard, and shook away her hand from the glow. "There. Now atleast you won't paralyze yourself before the antidote actually starts working. The poison was already all over you system." And withotu another word Lorely moved on ahead of the two, more stomping than walking away, agitated. She, on the other hand, could loose them easily in the wilderness. Having her annoying guards right now did not seem so bad...Her dress was a mess too.

"Die then, all I wanted was to help," Rive said with a scowl, subconsciously he started to follow this Anny girl. The poison was going down, but his soldiers won't give up so easily on those that knew to much. It wasn't his fault, they were useful for the plans of the Darth'iar, he only followed the orders given by Sabazios. At the thought of Sabazios, he wished dearly that one day, maybe they could spar a little more again.
Shaking his head, he turned to the direction of Vincent, sadly he replied with a not so untrue answer,"If I told you who I am, you would probably hate me, and they would do at any cost to kill you." His tone was depressing quite opposite of what he usually sounded when he met up with those two. This was no time to be this way, he knew more then anything. Many people died in his hands when he stood looking out from that suit.

Not the town, Vincent thought. If those people were trying to kill Rive with possible civilians around, the odds were that they would continue in Druth. He couldn’t get them involved… There was still that option though. He was in Druth, or at least near it, but that might be more dangerous than just trying to fight off the assassins on his own.
He watched as Rive turned to leave with Anny and then pursed his lips when he spoke. So what did that mean? Was he from the Dark World as well, and why did his personality suddenly change? “Well, maybe I will die, but you aren’t going to use innocent people as a shield if I can help it. If you refuse to tell me who you are, at least tell me who is attacking you. You never know, I could be able to get them to leave.” He paused, his face becoming as stoic as this new Rive. “And if not, I’m not the sort of person they would want as an enemy.”

Lorely had turned her gaze back to the one called Vincent, who was still waiting for some sort of explanation for the events happening right now. She also noticed Rive had began to follow her, so she stopped, folded her arms and turned around at Rive, signaling with her eyes at the man behind them. "You should tell him what he wants you know. No sense in keeping it a secret and still draging us into it. Really...from what class are you? Even thiefs act more rationaly at a moment like this. Trust, I know." After all, Vincent looked like a smart guy and by what he says, she would not like to be in Rive's position at the moment. "If your not going to tell, then go elsewhere. Theyre after you, not us."

"You're both really mean, it might be best if I do leave you both, less bodies to clean up." "The Darth'iar are ruthless after all." Rive turned over and walked past Anny, he was going to town, just to make sure people there were unharmed. Then after only a few more steps, he froze, the sun was going down. The commander will surely check up on him soon. Rive began to sweat, wondering what kind of story he will have to make up to get out of the situation.
"I gotta go!" he suddenly hollered in a desperate panic stricken voice, darting at full speed he headed in the direction they came from.

It was if something clicked within Vincent’s mind. This was bad. If the Darth’iar were this close to Druth, then they couldn’t be planning anything good. If the Darth’iar were anywhere, they couldn’t be planning anything good. Well, he got his answer. Now what was he going to do? He quickly stepped to the side, too surprised to do anything to prevent Rive from running past him. He was beyond help, if the man was killed, so be it, but he wasn’t about to let Druth be invaded.
“Anny,” he said, turning to the young woman. “You can leave if you want to, but it’ll probably be safer to come with me. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of them, but the Darth’iar… well, they’re bad news.” He started to walk in the direction of the softly glowing evening lights of the city, then stopped again. “I need to go into town to speak with someone. And before you take off into the forest,” he added, deciding it was time to clue her in on what he knew, “consider how you have no idea of the geography of the area and that they might be planning to capture or kill fresh meat like you. According to them, if you aren’t on their side, then you don’t belong in the Light World.”

ooc:...are we splitting up or something?
Lorely stood, arms folded, and eyes narrowed on the two. She watched as Rive called them mean and then darted off into town. Of all the....Us? He's the one who... She could only shut her eyes and let it pass in a big sigh, one of her brows twitching. And then Vincent spoke to her, making her open them again. He was also headed into town and added a bit of unnerving information on his way. The light world, he said. Lorely had heard about it...but never really wanted to believe such reality. Was she really in the light world then? Couldn't she have been...teleported anywhere else? How was she supposed to explain this to her father?
Lorely clenched her teeth. She didn't think I'd be this hard. She did know about the Darthiar of course. Most of the thieves in her group knew about it. But this Vincent seemed to know a lot more than what he was telling her. She decided to find a way to get some more info. out of him. Like...how to go back?
Her eyes burned furiously for a moment, but she gave in and walked toward town too. "Alright fine. You better be telling the truth or you'll regret it. I won't be treated like a fool, understand?" She walked right by him as she talked, murmuring a few things to herself. "Of course I know of them...geez. Why am I in such a bad mood" She then realized her headache had not entirely vanished yet.
