Azuril snapped out of his complicated mixture of thoughts as the wind started to blow on Holab Road again. The wind had the faint scent of smoke, alerting him to the thought that someone or something may be lurking around the area. Even with this knowledge he just simply enjoyed the feeling of the wind. The sun was up high and unwavering with no clouds in view. This day was so peaceful especially since there was only the light sounds of animals working and doing there own thing. He himself was taken into the magical spell of such a day.
Snore! Maina slept peacefully over Azuril's shoulders, her snore was merely a gentle snort against the beautiful day. Azuril knew how vulnerable Maina was during the day and gone along with a break for her to relax. Apparently it only took her a few seconds to fall into a deep sleep. He didn't dare wake her up when she was so entranced into her slumber. He gently laid his right hand on top of Maina's cloak and slid off her hood to reveal her jet black hair. It always made him smile when he saw her so peaceful. He can only hope it would last longer.
The wind began to blow harder, rustling the leaves of the tree they were under. It also stopped him from drifting back into his thoughts once again. As the tree rustled, the sunlight that pierced the small leaves, began to change position, creating a dim light show. This only made him more glad they took such a break. As he watched, the spell of the day took hold of him as he to was drifting off into a sleep. His own eyes began to droop, but before he fell completely asleep, Maina woke up.
"Theres someone approaching," she said putting her hood back over her head.
