Name: Aura "Nox" Gail
Race: Vampiress/Elf
Gender: Female
Age: 17
World of Origin: Rodylia
Allegiance: Light
Description:
Aura has high cheekbones and a heart shaped face, and pale skin, originating from her vampiress half. She has pointy ears from her elven side, and long brown hair with slight blond highlights. Her eyes can be several different colors, depending on her mood. When she is angry, her eyes are blood red. When she is sad or embarrassed, they are midnight blue with pale pink flecks. Any other time, they are molten gold with silver flecks. If she is in her vampire form, they turn a misted light blue, making her pupils stand out, pitch black on her face.
Her casual dress is either a forest green gown fringed with red, a pair of black bell bottom jeans, a black tube top, and a short cut black long sleeved leather jacket, or a full mahogany leather outfit of bell bottom pants, a tube top with only one strap over her shoulder, a short cut jacket, and belt. She also wears a pair of grey leather boots.
Skills/Weapons:
Her main weapons are a diamond based bow with only the finest flax bowstring. She is a master archer as well as swordsman, which is why she has a sword with a hilt of silver with an amethyst embedded into it. For backup, she carries two gold hilted daggers, which are concealed on the insides of her boots. She is nocturnal.
She also has a horse, a black stallion that is 18.4 hands tall, with foot long mane and 3 foot long tail. It is an elven horse specially trained for surefootedness and speed. It is also nocturnal. It's tack is a silver studded black saddle and bridle, western style. He is faster then most horses could ever dream, and cost Nox a pretty penny.
Personality:
She is mysterious, and often has a smart remark to add to anything, but overall she can be very shy when she wants to be. She is more or less lonely, although she likes to keep to herself. She can also have quite a fiery temper about her sometimes.
History:
When her parents first met, it was not as pleasant as one would have hoped. Her vampiress mother had been transported to the forest in Rodylia through a tear in the Rift, and would you know it, it had been right next to her father. At that point, they had glared at eachother for a while before beginning to ask questions and slowly grow to trust one another. Little did they know that they would fall in love and and run away to live on their own.
When Aura was born, it more or less strengthened the bond between the couple. They loved her dearly, and raised her away from civilization because of her differance. She could eat normal food, fruits and meats, but also could survive on blood. One day, when she was eleven, her father left and went to Vanar, saying he was going to have a present for her. When he returned, he came with a stunning and spirited black stallion that Aura named Sheetan, meaning black devil in Arabic. Two years later, it happened.
The darklings came in black cloaks, carrying torches during the night. They lit her home aflame, and her father rushed her out, and told her to ride Sheetan away, far away. She obeyed, yet didn't. She grabbed her back leather cloak and dashed to the stables, just in time to rescue Sheetan and the three other horses her parents owned, and she mounted, just as the darklings set the barn on fire as well. She raced out as a blur, legs churning beneath the black stallion. When the men thought she was gone, she watched, her horse just as silent, as they slayed her mother and father. When they were gone, she went to their bodies and wept.
She sulked for months, later deciding to seek revenge. And so began her training of archery and fencing. Three years later, she was her own mercenary. It took a while, but she found the men who killed her family. Her lust for revenge was quenched. A year later, she had become a highly respected being, and earned herself a treasure trove of gold working as an assasin. Now, she lives peacefully in the Vanar forest, an experianced healer, killer, mounted attacker, archer, you name it. She also runs a very small stable of many differant mounts, including horses, elk, and even a few giant wolves and tigers. She had even managed to 'hire' a lion.

(From another site.)
A full ten acre of land spread before the eye, a quarter forest, half field, and a quarter mountainous, with shooting geysers of hot water and lava, rock slides, mud slides, and during the winter - avalanches. at the starting point of the vast fields, there was a small camp. At a large tree stump, an axe was dug into it, and nearby a large hut was set up, with four rooms, the bathroom, the foyer, the bedroom, and the kitchen. In the kitchen there was a fire pit, with a pot hanging over it by sturdy shaved pine branches hooked together to form a hanger. Near the corner on the left side of the kitchen was a large fireplace, with a larger pot hanging from it, empty. The fireplace, however, was lit, sending off warm burst of heat. Inside the fire pit's pot was a pleasant smelling stew, chicken broth with chunks of deer and rabbit meat inside. There were also some chopped carrots and peas, from the garden outside that held more vegetables and fruit then you could imagine. A cow was tethered to a post as she chewed her cud, in a knee high grassy area. A female servant was milking her, as a girl seemingly in her late teens walked from the house, clothed in leather, weapons protruding from every point of view. A handful of throwing needles here, a few throwing knives there, and two katanas hanging from her waist, and many other weapons hanging about her figure. All were either steel, iron, or mithril, but altogether weighed nearly ten tons.
Despite the heavy weight, the girl was agile and nimble, and undaunted by it. Her only armor was a leather, covering her whole body, making up her tall boots, short skirt with connected skirt cape behind, a leather vest covering her chest over a beige cotton sleeveless that fit her form perfectly, showing off her curves. A silver studded leather cloak was draped over her shoulders, covering a few more weapons she had. Around her head was a gold circlet, her long blond hair streaming from her porcelain face, tied up into a neat ponytail with two locks of grown out bangs surrounding her delicate face. Her tawny eyes darted along every crevice they could find, and her chocolate colored cat ears twitched, noticing every sound that was carried to her. Her small nose twitched, picking up scent from the forest, the piny smells, the scent of torn bark as a squirrel scuttled up or a mountain lion sharpened it's claws. Her own tail that resembled a cougars twitched irritably from under her cloak, swishing this way and that. her sharp fangs were almost pinching the skin on her lips as she eagerly chattered, much like a cat does when they have spotted prey and are scenting the wind to catch the smell, in excitement of the day's endless bouts of training.
She stepped gracefully through the doorway and leaped down the three steps, and she darted out of sight in seconds, leaving an afterimage where she previously stood. She stopped at the base of a tall oak, and she leaped into it without a noise, her eyes growing larger and her arms turning to fur as she slowly shifted camoflaugedly into a mighty huntress cougar.
